The Faith of Ronald Reagan by Mary Beth Brown

The Faith of Ronald Reagan

The Faith of Ronald Reagan is an inspiring chronicle of the shaping of one of America’s greatest leaders. From his humble childhood in Illinois to his ascension to the highest seat in government, Reagan’s convictions, faith and hopefulness never wavered.

Raised by an Irish Catholic father and a deeply committed Christian mother, Reagan had a servants’ heart and a genuine love for his country. Guided throughout his life by the hand of God, Reagan was not unaware of the miraculous events that shaped his existence and never failed, publicly or privately, to credit his creator.

Reagan was convicted by truth, justice and the inspirational concept of the “American dream”. He adamantly and vocally opposed evil in any form, never bowing to pressure to remain “politically correct”. He was a man led by faith and answered only to One.

The Faith of Ronald Reagan is a beautiful depiction of a truly great man whose profound faith, for a short time, led a nation. Affecting and motivational, filled with wisdom and challenge, I hope I am half the witness Reagan was in his life. Perhaps one day I will thank him for his example of a life well lived.

I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers as part of their BookSneeze.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
